Referrals to chartered accountants and CPAs
Some guides mention getting professional help — for a lower-deduction certificate, a CA’s certificate before moving money abroad, filing a return, or responding to a notice. Where we have a referral relationship with a firm, that’s disclosed at the point it’s mentioned, and we may earn a fee if you use it. It pays the same whether you’re reading from India or from abroad, so it doesn’t bias which guides we prioritise.
Money transfer and NRI banking partners
Guides about selling property, repatriating money and NRO accounts may include a labelled partner box comparing services like money transfer providers or NRI banking products. Every partner link carries rel="sponsored nofollow" and a visible label saying it’s a partner link. If a page compares options, we state the comparison criteria and apply them the same way to every option, partner or not.
US expat tax filers
Pages in our /us/ section may carry referrals to firms that prepare US returns for Americans and US-person NRIs living abroad. Same labelling rules apply.
Display ads
We plan to add display ads later, in clearly separated slots. They will never appear inside a short answer, a step-by-step list or a worked example — those stay free of anything but the answer itself.
What partner links never do
